It is 9 minutes away from the beach, 5 minutes away from the main plaza Climent Ohridski, and 2 minutes away from the Old Bazar. Needless to say, it puts you within a walking distance to most local attractions, saving you on the usual taxi and bus fares when residing in the periphery.
The rooms
It is unusual for a hostel to feature more than 2 double rooms, yet City Inn offers 7 of these. All have separate balconies with mountain views, and modern private bathrooms. This is the aspect, I suppose, that makes City Inn a mix between the traditional hotel environment and that of the youth hostel.
The hostel dorm rooms all feature separate balconies and bathrooms as well, and you can book your stay in 1 of the 7 available. The bunk bed layout is as follows – five six bed rooms, and two four bed rooms.
The double room layout is quite spacious, posing a legitimate competition to most highly rated hotels in the city. If you are traveling on a budget, yet value your privacy, there is hardly a better option. They feature two nightstands with drawers, reading lights, conveniently placed power outlets, a large mirror, make-up desk and huge closets.
The hostel dorm rooms are very spacious as well, with comfortable beds and mattresses, separate reading lights and power outlets, as well as spacious enough storage with a private key. They too feature a desk and a large mirror, and curtains for every bunk bed in order to offer some privacy.

While we’ve encountered a slight difference between Booking and the official website, it is reasonable to say that the prices are super affordable. The official website charges 14 euros per night, per person, for a stay in a four bed mix dormitory room, and 13 euros for one with six beds.
The standard double room costs 30 euros per night, per person, and the standard triple room 35 euros per night per person. This might be a mistake since the Booking platform shows the same price only for renting the entire room (which makes more sense considering the numbers). It also shows slightly more affordable prices for the mix dormitory rooms.
Payment is made after arrival, either via cash, or credit card. They accept Master Card, Visa, and Maestro. The taxes are included in the price.
The check in is from 13:00, and you have to be out by 12:30 on your checkout. No pets are allowed.
